“Mavrek Development is partnering with ACRES Commercial Realty Corp to redevelop the existing historic building at 65 E. Wacker Place. Located near the Chicago Riverwalk, the building stands along E. Wacker Pl between N. Wabash Ave and N. Michigan Ave.
“The development team’s vision for the project includes a comprehensive renovation and modernization effort that will preserve the building’s heritage while introducing contemporary elements to meet the demands of today’s residential tenants. The redevelopment will feature a mix of floorplans ranging from studios to 2 bedrooms with an emphasis on in-unit workspaces.

“A zoning application has been filed for the proposed redevelopment of the existing historic building at 65 E. Wacker into apartments. Planned by Mavrek Development and ACRES Commercial Realty Corp, the building stands at the intersection of E. Wacker Pl and N. Garland Ct near the Chicago Riverwalk.
“With the zoning application filed, the developers are looking to rezone the property from DX-16 to a Planned Development. Approvals will be needed from the Chicago Plan Commission, Committee on Zoning, and City Council.”
